Light greets the day
What is left
Moon hides
Taking our breath

Lightning on the earth brings warm new life
Something in the dark cold like a knife
Over arching beauty of the suns greatest rays
Waiting as the never ending cycles fades away

Sifting through the great sands of time
Watching the planets taking their design
Nothing is left but the song here unsung
Watching the horizon – the dawn of the sun

Strike, arise – the sun takes the night away
Dark surprise – this world takes my breath away
Might, demise – the end of our every day
Nothing it seems can save us (save from the sun)
Burning bright – the fire of eternity
What will come – when to the cold it flees
Night will reign – nothing more to see
Life will be bound – by the red rising sun

Horizon so red
Like the blood of new day
So dark
As the sun starts to fade
We’re so lost in our own delusions
So distraught, destiny's not in our hands
